Motorola RAZR Phone

Filed in: ,

I got a Motorola RAZR phone last night. Stephanie and I upgraded our phones together on a family plan with Cingular, so we could call each other for free any time. She's had the same phone for over four years, and she really needed to upgrade, so we did it together to save money.

So anyways, We've both got cool new camera phones. I got the RAZR, and she got a Sony Ericsson, something or other.

And I'm figuring out if I can sync up my contact info from my laptop to the phone right now. I'm realizing that I don't have a lot of people's phone numbers; only their e-mail addresses. How big a web dork am I? So if you want to be in my cell phone directory e-mail me and let me know. :-)

yay! i'm so glad stephanie replaced that phone, it was always being annoying.

enjoy the fun new geek bling!

Yep, she's been needed a new phone pretty badly for a long time, and Cingular had a great deal on a family plan that lets us both pay a lot less than the current plans we had, with more minutes, so it made sense.

Stephanie's been messing around with recording individual ringtones for everyone calling, and I managed to get my address book to sync from my laptop, which rocks.

How did you get get it to link up? My gal Patsy just got a Razr...

I turned on bluetooth on the phone and the computer, and then went to the bluetooth menu on the phone. I exported my address book entries from my computer within the addess book menu.

so do you have to have blue tooth in order to link your computer and phone to export the address book from the phone to the computer, is there any other way?

I haven't found any other way to export it, so I think bluetooth is the only option...
