Snicker Doodles

From the kitchen of: unknown.

  • 1 cup soft shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 3/4 cups sifted flour

Make dough, chill, roll into balls, and roll in a mixture of 1 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
