Blogger did some major updates to their technology, and now I can allow comments on the site without having to use a third party. So I'm going to turn on the ability to comment on some posts on my site, just to see how it goes.
I get enough angry right-wing e-mail that I won't be allowing comments on any of my political posts (because my opinion is really the only one that counts anyway!), and I will delete any comments that are spam, negative or inflammatory on other posts. It is, after all, my site, and I'm not going to pay for people to insult me.
